Welcome to Modern Architecture

Welcome to my blog. My name is Oybek and I will be posting my ideas and designs onto this blog. I study at DMU International College Art & Design IYZ and my main course is Architecture.
To start with my approach to architecture, it tends to take an exception. I reckon architecture as more of technology and function than art.
I inspired by Zaha Hadid's projects. To speak briefly about her, Zaha Hadid was an architect known for her radical deconstructivist designs. She was the first woman to be awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize, in 2004. Her style was intensely futuristic architecture characterized by curving facades, sharp angles, and using materials such as concrete and steel. She took the strongest materials in the world and manipulated them to form objects that appear soft and sturdy at the same time.

I would like to continue with Pritzker Architecture Prize winner, Francis Kéré, Burkina Faso-born black architect, in an interview about his architectural philosophy, with Louisiana Channel. As the official statement of the Pritzker Architecture Prize notes, “Through buildings that demonstrate beauty, modesty, and invention, and by the integrity of his architecture and geste, Kéré gracefully upholds the mission of this Prize”, continually empowering and transforming communities through the process of architecture.
